I like the fact I can remove/change its location easily ...our dog is black and when we put it on the top of his collar we can see him easily at night in the back yard when we let him out...and when we walk him at night we put the light on the bottom of his collar and it lights the way...

Water resistant and like the fact you can set the blink pattern on them. It can be clipped on the collar, which I think will probably be the first thing to break but also has a sturdy wire to attach to the collar. Since I only put it on them when they go out at night, as they have enough tags to wear already, I attached a small caribinger to the wire for fast attachment and removal.

I have to open our gym at 5:30AM..thus I walk my dogs at 4:30AM! I think its a necessity to have the Beacon on them. Funny story: I got stopped by the police who had no clue what the flashing light was who saw us a half mile away! He told me I really had him baffled as to what it was. I often see a biker out with a Beacon on as well. I am always afraid the dogs may bolt on me in the dark if approached by a stranger or another "dog on the loose", so I know not only can people see me, but I will always be able to find them in the dark with the Beacon! Seriously a great product for those who take their dogs out in the dark.

This is probably the brightest and longest lasting flasher/ light we have ever had. We've used some others with mixed results. I would definitely buy this item again!
