Gates, Crates and Pens for "Time Outs"
| Make sure that your energetic dog doesn't learn that bouncing off of your guests is exciting or that digging in the carpets is "cool". Neutral "time outs" for 5 minutes in a crate or behind a gate when naughtiness happens can help communicate to your dog to calm himself. Keeping him close using a leash can also be useful. |
