Please read on for Pet Expertise's guarantees, return and exchange policies.

We guarantee you will get the right item(s)!: We guarantee that you will receive the item(s) that are on your receipt. If you do not receive all items that you ordered or incorrect items please contact us within 36 hours and we will make it right. Wrongly shipped items must be returned to us in their original product package with all documentation in order to receive credit. Please follow the return policies below to be sure to receive your refund.

We guarantee you will get a non-defective item!: We guarantee that you will receive the items you ordered in perfect condition. If you receive a defective item, we will make it right by giving you a complete refund including the shipping both ways. If you receive a defective or damaged item please contact us within 36 hours and follow instructions below to return it to us. Once we verify the product damage we will refund you fully including shipping both ways. Damage in shipping must be reported within 36 hours of receipt of order, so we can begin the claims process. Please keep all packaging and paperwork for processing claims.

Need to exchange an item?: Pet Expertise keeps it simple! In order to keep our prices low and simplify processes we do not offer direct exchanges. Instead, you can simply return the item(s) using the return instructions below and place a new order for the item(s) you would like at any time with no waiting necessary.

Return Instructions and Policies:

  • You may return an item to us within 30 days of your receipt of the item in it's original condition including packaging (if applicable). Items returned more than 30 days after delivery, in any condition other than new or without an authorization number or missing parts will be evaluated and assessed a restocking fee, refused or rejected, or held for you to claim at our discretion.

  • If items are damaged or lost on their return trip to us, we cannot process a refund. We recommend that you insure your package just in case.

  • In your return package, please include your order number, name and address (a copy of the invoice works nicely) as well as a note letting us know that you would like a refund and your authorization number. Please share with us why you are returning the item.

  • When we receive your return we will refund you via the method that you paid originally and send an email notification. Actual shipping charges incurred by Pet Expertise to ship your order to you will be deducted from your return. If you received free shipping, the actual incurred shipping charge will be deducted.

  • Please contact us for return authorization and instructions. If we receive a return which is unauthorized we may be unable to refund you.

Notes about returning individual items:

  • If you are having trouble getting your Easy Walk Harness to fit or work properly and would like help with it, please take a look at the tips you received free with your harness (printed guide as well as link to our customer guide on your receipt) or contact us. Most of our customers love the EWH once it is fitted properly, but sometimes it takes a bit of patience to get it just right.

  • If your dog does not want to chew on his antler, please check out our tips.

  • Items that cannot be returned

    • Belly Bands (due to sanitary concerns)

    • Poochpads (due to sanitary concerns)

    • Poochpants (due to sanitary concerns)

    • Pet-A-Potty (due to sanitary concerns, unless unused and within 10 days of delivery)

    • Pup-Head (due to sanitary concerns, unless unused, see below)

    • CDs

    • Treats, Food and Chews (unless unopened) We carry only the best and well-tested edible items. Please order less at first to make sure your dog likes it. If your dog doesn't like it, we recommend that you pass it on to a friend or donate it to a shelter.

  • Items that require restocking fees:

    • Jafco Muzzle: $5
    • Bark Collars: 15%
    • Big Shrimpy Dog Nest Bed: $15
    • Pup-Head: $10 for unused potties (used potties cannot be returned due to sanitary reasons).
