The PetSafe Remote Spray Trainer uses a harmless but startling burst of lemon mist to stop your dog from misbehaving. Gentler than shock and just as effective.
Deter behaviors such as barking, not coming when called, getting on counters or in trash, digging, chewing furniture, eating poop, pestering other pets, chasing animals.
Using the Collar:
Put the collar around your dog’s neck and whenever your dog is misbehaving or disobeying obedience commands, press the button on your handheld remote. After a few well-timed sprays, your dog will likely stop doing the behavior. The Remote Spray Collar is preferable to a spray bottle because it is not associated with you. Since your dog will not see you press the button on the remote, instead he is more likely to associate the correction with his behavior and not whether you are nearby with a bottle.
Don't forget the foundation of good dog training: Set your dog up to succeed and reward good behavior! For example, if your want to train your dog not to pester your cats, watch him carefully and when he pesters the cats apply the spray while he is in the act. When he stops and backs away from the cats tell him he is good and give him a reward such as a food treat. If he later lays down or plays nicely with the cats on his own, reward him each time he does it. If he simply cannot help himself from pestering the cats even if you are applying the spray than that means you need to use management techniques to make it easier for him to behave such as working farther away from the cats.

Collar is adjustable for neck sizes to 8" to 28". Recommended for dogs over 10 lbs and older than six months. Not recommended for fearful dogs.
