JAFCO Comfortable Dog Muzzle

The Jafco Muzzle is lightweight, comfortable and secure - a perfect muzzle. Police dog strong!

• Designed to be comfortably worn for short or long periods while allowing your dog to bark, pant, take small treats, and drink (make sure the dog has a deep enough water bowl / bucket).

• Easy to clean and cushioned for comfort. The white and black versions are the lightest while the clear version is softer and helps you to observe your dogs reactions.

• Use your Jafco Muzzle to prevent:

  • Wound licking.

  • Eating inappropriate items such as rocks and sticks.

  • Injuries due to a fight between dogs or "misunderstanding" during breeding.

  • Being bitten while training an aggressive dog.

• All colors and styles of muzzles have the same shape, number of openings and size of openings. Muzzle openings are 5/8" in diameter. Can easily fit the nozzle of an Easy Cheese canister or pretzel sticks for positive reinforcement training

• Comes with instructions on fitting and teaching your dog to happily wear a muzzle.

Please note: While a muzzle can be very useful as a safety backup when training your aggressive dog they can be harmful or even dangerous if your dog is repeatedly exposed to a situation which causes him to try to bite while muzzled. We strongly recommend working with an experienced positive trainer who will help you to teach your dog to be comfortable around what is currently making him aggressive.

For safety, we recommend that you supervise your dog at all times when he or she is wearing a muzzle.

Sizing: Measure your dog’s snout from the tip of his nose to the "stop" as shown above, and around the widest part of his snout while his mouth is closed.
