Our dogs love Kongs but our male 6 month old border collie has destroyed the red kongs. I was so excited to see the blue ones that show up on XRays! Absolute MUST!!! I am not planning on any vet trips that require an extraction of a piece of Kong but for the same price... unless your dog is a picky chewer and won't chew something really tough, get the blue ones!!! A kong with some dog food and a spoon ful of peanut butter is a dog in heaven. My only problem is that I can't seem to own enough of them... need a few out with the dogs (have 3 dogs) and a few in the freezer with treats ready for the next day. Enjoy!!!

I am a huge fan of Kong toys. I have the Kong Xtreme for my dog and it is the only toy that he hasn't destroyed. He gets it with a biscuit or peanut butter whenever I leave and he loves to play with it without treats too. It has a great erratic bounce, so it's fun for him to play with by himself or for me to throw to him. He also tries to get me to play tug with it.

We have had big dogs for years and have given them Kongs from the beginning. They love them whether filled with goodies or just playing with them empty. Our guys are vigorous chewers who destroy other 'almost indestructible' toys in a single play session. However, their Kongs literally last for years. We love our Kongs!
