These are fantastic. Just bought 2 more antlers for my 80-lb lab mix because he has finally worn down the 2 we bought him for Christmas (9 months ago!). He loves to chew on these, they don't splinter like regular bones, and they last FOREVER. He will lose interest in them for a day or 2 but then we find him curled up with one chewing away for an hour at least. I can't even count the number of shoes these have saved me! We have found that the large is a good size for him.

I have a very particular little teagle (beagle/terrier) when it comes to fulfilling her chewing desires. She doesn't like rawhide or biscuits or nylabones, pig ears, hooves...in fact, before a friend told me about antlers, I'd pretty much given up. I only bought one medium size to start, thinking it would go the way of everything else I'd bought her. But the moment I took it out of the bag and offered it up, she was in heaven. The Antlers: Are awesome! I tried to get a verity to find out exactly which ones my dogs, 2 Pit Bull Mixes, like best. They seem to like them all. But my puppy is not happy about always getting the “Heavy Chewer” one. It really is tougher than the others (RECOMMEND requesting that one if you too have a heavy chewer) so when my older dog stops chewing on hers the puppy darts right over to steal hers. I am trying to teach her to bring her antler over so that she’s not “stealing” she’s “trading”. LOL
The Price: Is GREAT! I went to my local all natural pet store, they were all out of large ones but the small ones they did have were $12 & they were 3 – 4 inches long & maybe an inch or so in diameter... For the same price here I got LARGE ones! To save on shipping I just was sure to get $49 worth which will last probably half the year or more. Shipping: WOW I ordered on a Friday morning & got them by Monday afternoon! Shipped from OH to CT which isn’t too far but possessing order & shipping all in the same day is very unique. I have purchased the small, medium and large deer antlers for my dogs and their dog friends. The deer antlers are always the hit of the party. There are times when we have up to 5 dogs over to the house (with their respective humans) and by the end of the evening each pup has found a deer antler that is just his/her size and is chewing contently. These are a great distraction -- with NO MESS, which is the best. I plan to buy more. And they last significantly longer than the other chew toys. Our Golden pup (10 months), "Birdie," absolutely loves her antler chews in XL and XXL. I have an 8 year old Akita who is really a chewing machine ... she carries a bone/chew/whatever to every room with her. I bought the large sized antler (she's 90 lbs) and although she took it right out of my hands and gives it a lick every now and then - that thing is hard as stone and she couldn't break off a piece without taking a tooth with it! Bummed. I've heard great things about dogs and antlers too. Pet Expertise Response: The antler is hard and dogs generally work at it and shave off small pieces as they go. If your dog does not like it you can return it to us or you can try a few things like sanding it, soaking it or rubbing it with a small amount of peanut butter.

We have two dogs - a chewer and a non-chewer. Well, we bought the softer antler for the non-chewer and she loves it! Every time we give it to her, she chews for over an hour straight. The chewer - we bought him a harder one, but he's not enjoying it as much as his sister. He's not getting anything out of it, so he chews for awhile, but not as long as we expected. I gave one to our dog, a 3 y/o Lab. Retriever with a power bite, and while at first he wasn't sure what to do with it, he quickly discovered it was a delight to chew on. I have ordered antlers offline before and they did the job. However, when I opened up the box to find these antlers, I was so impressed! I bought 2 XXL's for my American Bulldog mix and my APBT mix and they were absolutely huge! The Am. The best thing about the antler chews for dogs is that they last forever. I have had the original antler for over 2 years and my dog chews on it daily. Just got a medium antler in my order that arrived two days ago. I wasn't sure what to expect, but after washing the antler off and giving it to Juno, I was amazed. She didn't hesitate at all. She took the antler and started gnawing on it right away. It keeps her busy for hours and she'll give up almost any other item or behavior for a chew session. The antler shows almost no sign of wear after three hours or so of chewing so far. Highly recommended!

I have a dog that loves to chew, 9 month old Flat Coat Retriever. I ordered two large antlers, one shorter thicker which is great because she has not been able to break any of the antler. The other one is the longer narrower type which I would not get again as she has chewed off one end, chips have come off and at some point there was blood on the end of the antler. Thicker is best! and I would order that type again. Good price, better than our local pet store.

We got two, one for our husky and one for our rat terrier. Our husky loved it immediately! Our rat terrier was scared of it at first, but once she warmed up to it she can't be without it. Our 3.5 yr old 50lb lab loves these antlers! We get the XL, and it lasts her about a month. She's been chewing antlers since she was a pup, and her teeth and gums are perfect.

I bought the gigantic antler thinking it would be smaller... Not true these antlers are HUGE! If in doubt go a little smaller (this is nice most places you have to go bigger.) I should of gone a little smaller on the size for my Australian shepherd though he plays with it on occasion, I think it would of been better to get a size smaller.. I read to soak them but also scraping the outside a little with a big file helps to release the smell a little making it more appealing to the dog too

I like the antlers, and have been recommending them, too. Timber is a real power chewer--of the last pair I ordered, one is gone and the other is less than half its original length, but they last much longer than anything else I can give him except those Hercules Nylabones, and he likes them better than the Nylabones. I like it that he has something to keep him entertained in his crate when I'm at work. The extra thick one you sent with this last order should last even longer. Another thing I like about them is that they seem so safe--they don't break or splinter cow hooves, they're not so hard like those sterilized bones, he can't chew off huge chunks like rawhide so I can leave him alone with it in his crate without worrying that he'll choke. They seem to just sort of compress and wear away as he gnaws on them. They don't get slimy, they don't stink. The one thing that does worry me is when they get to a certain length I'm afraid he might swallow it long ways and get it stuck in his throat, so I take them away at that stage, or only let him have the shorter ones when I'm home. And of course they're not allowed to play with them--someone might get an eye poked out! But all things considered, I think they're one of the best chewy things for dogs available.

Our dogs love these! They're super strong chewers and the antlers are great because they don't chip like the big femur bones. Other people have mentioned the great aspects of these chews... no odor, no staining, no chips/splinters. Dogs love 'em. My dog got a slab fracture....dont use these things. --Pet Expertise Response: Hi Cheryl, we are so sorry to hear that your dog broke a tooth. Unfortunately, any dog chew can be dangerous (the soft ones are choking hazards and the hard ones are tooth hazards..), but the fact is that dogs NEED to chew and they will often find their own chews (also dangerous, like furniture, rocks and sticks), if we don't give them a chewing outlet. Almost any hard chew can cause a dog's tooth to break if they bear down on it very hard. The answer is to watch your dog carefully when he or she chews, allow chewing in moderation only and also keep an eye on your dog's mouth on a regular basis.

I just received the antler chew for my 6 1/2 month old Australian Shepherd mix puppy, and she is beside herself chewing it! She had her nose as far up on the counter as she could while I was washing it off, and has been gnawing on it for the past hour. I ordered the Large size, and it will definitely keep her busy for a good long while. My dog loves deer antlers! They're long lasting. However, if your' dog is an intense chewer, MONITOR. My dog broke a back tooth from intense chewing.

Our dogs love these. Once you know your dog likes them, I recommend buying a few types if you have multiple dogs especially. I bought one for "picky chewers" as it has a branch on it and one for strong chewers. They are both very different and while they taste and smell the same, the dogs get excited about it as if it's a new toy. YAY! Lots of fun to have a "brand new" toy with a great classic. Must have!!!

My Bulldog loves these!! They are the only chews he can't destroy. The X-large ones last her a few months. I totally recommend them.

Our pit/lab mix is a big chewer. I usually gave him rawhide or Nylabones, but these are worrisome. The antlers at the pet store were so expensive, even for little ones. These antlers are such a good value. Chico loves his, and even the large size is worth the money, because it lasts so long.

I bought 10 Large antlers for a 5 month old lab and a 10 month old lab. I highly recommend this company and their antlers. Both dogs are constantly chewing on the antlers. I did not request any particular type and am pleased with the assortment that was sent to us. Some of the antlers are branched and the dogs love them too. I will definately order again ! Thanks!

Great product. I bought deer antlers for my Bulldog. She likes to have something in her mouth at all times. I can't tell you the "tough, can't be destroyed toys" I have purchased then after a few minutes I see stuffing or particles from the toy. She barely has put a dent in these. Finally a really tough chew for a fanatical chewer.
