I love them as an alternative to a retractable. Anyone using a retractable in sand at the beach knows they don't last long there! The partway-handle is brilliant too! Author: Maryann
These bungee leashes are great. They allow optimal control with the mid-leash hand hold and are safe when dogs play together as the fabric does not cut like retractable leashes. This leash also saved my dog's life when he fell off a ledge - if not for the give of this leash, his neck would have been broken.

I ordered 3 of these leashes because using retractable leashes with 3 dogs is IMPOSSIBLE!! The handles are so difficult to hold onto and the strings of the leashes continuously get tangled. I love this leash and was not able to find anything similar in the local stores. The dogs can weave amongst themselves and it is very easy to separate them, yet they have a bit more space than a regular 6’ leash allows for walking.

It is so nice to walk by 93 lb lab using this leash, it has saved my shouler! highly recommend for any of those strong pullers-walk your dog-stop him/her from pulling you down the street. I use the coupler attached to his collar & then to leash for even more "stretch" !

Margot, my shar-pei/boxer mix, and I absolutley LOVE this leash. On our walks it allows her to move ahead or behind if she has something that she really wants to sniff. It allows me to continue walking and then when it starts to get taught she immediately comes towards me. It really allows both of us to enjoy our walk together. The handle in the middle is nifty when I need to draw her in for safety or to avoid other people on the path. I highly recommend it!
