I have a Labradoodle who was crate trained since she was a puppy and she really likes these soft sided crates. At first I wanted to try to save some money and bought the one from Walmart which was half the price of this one but it had really shoddy construction and looked like it would break at the first opportunity. I guess you get what you pay for. Anyway I returned that and got this one and although it's a little more expensive, the construction is by far superior. As soon as I set it up, our dog Maggie went right in and lay down. I love the large side screen that allows more ventilation for our extra furry dog. The size is perfect for Maggie who is around 45 lbs. She is able to stand up fully and lay down stretched out with still some space to spare. I would not recommend this for puppies who are being crate trained as they could chew through this or any soft sided crate with those sharp puppy teeth. Puppies should probably start out with hard wire or plastic crates. But I would definitely recommend this for dogs who are trained and used to crates.
