Safety Collar Sizing:

Wrap a string around your dog’s neck as snug as you would like the collar to fit (snug enough so that it cannot slip over your dog’s head when leash is attached). Then measure the length of the string. The number of inches corresponds to the size of a tazlab collar. Don’t worry, Pet Expertise will always help you get the correct size. If there is ever a problem please contact us. Also note that we have a puppy program - if your puppy outgrows his collar you can get a discount on a new one!

I thought I would tell you about Andy and the tazlab collar. I was reading on the deck a few evenings ago and heard a big bang and looked up to see Andy shaken with his Tazlab collar in his mouth and a table pulled away from the wall. He had stuck his head under a wrought iron table for a crumb, and when he pulled his head back out his collar caught on a curlicue (I surmise). Luckily the collar came off saving him from being attached to the table and pulling it in a panic. He could have been hurt, and I know it would have been difficult for me with my lame hands to unbuckle him from his leather collar. So I feel pretty lucky that he had the Taz collar on. I worried about him or Annie being choked while playing (which is why I got the collars) but seems it was an even better idea than I originally thought.
