Of course, it does not work as well as our no-pull harnesses that were designed for this function, but it is great in a pinch and for dogs that don't pull very much. 

• Care and cleaning: Sure-Fit harnesses may be laundered in your washing machine. With darker colors (such as red, green blue, black), wash separate to avoid harness dye discoloring your other items. Harnesses can also be hand washed with mild detergent and rinsed. Hang to dry.

Size: To get the proper size harness, you will need to measure your dog's girth. Girth is the distance around the body at the widest part of the rib cage just behind the front legs (see diagram below). Please measure your dog in the standing position to get the most accurate measurement.
