I am thrilled with the results of using strap wrap. I have 2 young English staffies. Both were suffering from welts and raw, painful spots under their forelegs from their walking harnesses. The strap wrap simply and effectively protects them from the harness and the clasp. I love the straps!!! We use an easy walk harness and it rubs under his front legs. We were using moleskin padding, but that looked ugly. These strap covers are perfect! They do the job and the multi-color is super fun too!

We got the strap wrap for where the buckle went on our male lab's harness. He has really sensitive skin though. The strap wrap helped he had no chaffing after that.

We also have an "Easy Walk" harness that was irritating his skin. This works well and is simple to cut to the right length. However, the width is fixed (because of the velcro) and it is too wide for the straps and sometimes bunches up. It would be great if there was a skinnier version for thin straps.

I bought a nylon no-pull harness for my pit bull, which worked great on him, but he was getting rubbed raw behind his front legs within 30 minutes due to his ultra-short coat.
