Easy Walk Harness Training Guide Free With Purchase!

Hi All,

I have just finished a long-awaited article on training your dog using the Easy Walk Harness!

I decided to write the article since the Easy Walk Harness is our biggest seller and I wanted to help people get the best results with it possible. The article will also help with training your dog to walk on any type of front-attachment harness such as the Halti No-Pull Harness or the SENSE-ible.

The truth is that a dog can learn to pull into any collar or harness if we are not careful to teach them not too. I have seen dogs pulling like freight trains into choke collars and even a few dogs walking sort of sideways in order to pull into their Easy Walk Harness or other front-attachment harness.

Training your dog is almost always the answer (even with nifty-cool aids like the Easy Walk Harness)! What’s great is that the Easy Walk Harness makes it much easier to train your dog to walk on the leash than it would be using a regular collar or harness. The reason it works so well is that when the dog pulls into the harness the momentum from the leash actually turns the dog back towards the walker. The expression on the dog’s face when this happens can be pretty funny, since that is definitely not where he intended to go!

Another reason to love the Easy Walk Harness is that they avoid putting pressure on the sensitive trachea.

I hope if you use an Easy Walk Harness to walk your dog or any other front-attachment harness (or you are considering purchasing one), you will read this article and please let me know if it helps you (or doesn’t!). Also feel free to post a comment to this blog if you have any questions after you read it.

We will soon be adding a video on training your dog with the Easy Walk Harness so if you would like to be notified about that, please subscribe to this blog’s RSS or check back soon.
